Sting Fall in Four Sets to Knights

The Seneca Sting (1-16) captured the opening set, but ran out of momentum, falling in four sets to the Fleming Knights (10-7) 25-23, 14-25, 20-25, 21-25.

Gurtaj Bal and Ehsan Ghazanfari led the the Sting offense continually throughout the match. Bal finished with a match-high 18 kills to go along with 4 aces and 11 digs. Ghazanfari was equally impressive, finishing with 16 kills, 2 aces and 5 digs.

Sharing the setting duties for the Sting were Lior Mospan (26 assists) and Denne Cortez (15 assists).

Libero David Blom had 8 digs to continue his push to finish in the OCAA top 5 in digs for the season.

The Sting will wrap up the season on Friday when they travel to play the George Brown Huskies.
